So a common thing that my mother would say, growing up, (and even now) is, "Ala!" which... is kind of like an expression in Bemba. And if I translate it loosely, it just means like, "Oh my goodness, I can't believe you're doing this!"
Disons, like, je fait une bétise or something, my mom will be like, "Ala!" She'd be like, "Oh my gosh, I cannot believe you right now!" or "You're being unbelievable!" That's basically what it means, but I don't know how to say that specific expression, word for word, in other languages. Yeah.
